With a love for Scotland from lots of time spent there over the last 10 years, I spotted these little clay houses at a trade show earlier this year and just had to stock them!

These 'wee' little candle Bothies are handmade in Scotland from earthenware clay, dried and kiln fired and then painted by hand before a final firing cycle to produce the brightly coloured glaze. Each Bothy holds a little birthday cake sized candle in the chimney and comes with 2 candles.  No two are ever exactly the same shape or size.

A Bothy is a Scottish word for a hut or Cottage- originally built in some of Scotland's wildest and remote areas to accommodate farm workers, shepherds and gamekeepers but now kept as open shelters left unlocked for anyone to use while adventuring in the wild Highlands.

Very approximate measurements are Height 5cm x Width 4cm x Depth 3.5cm.

These little houses are available in Yellow, Light Pink, Coral, Turquoise, Light Blue/Grey and Moss Green.
